Compilation of fast growing plants and slow growing plants

I was thinking if it is a good idea to start compiling a list of fast growing plants and also slow growing plants here in the "PLants" sub forum?

Hope to see members contribute here to help the newcomers like myself learn more and spread this wonderful hobby. Thanks.

maybe also a classification of tall short and mid plants. so that we can have an idea of how these plants will be placed and more suited for foreground, background or mid level plants. just did a search and realised tropical have a good basic database on them.

also on new variations and "rare" finds?

That is a great idea,with pictures is much better,so it is easy to ID the plants.
