I don't think you should add moss to your drift wood. Covering the driftwood with moss will take away the only color contrast currently exists in the tank.

if you add some nanas on the drift wood would be nice but keep the stone the it is. Overall, a beautiful tank.

Is the stone weighing down the wood?

    Re:

Nice, lush, green and healthy. I like the rock but not the wood, but maybe its cos the wood looks too "clean" and unweathered. If you remove the wood though, the rock will be too flat to make an impact.

Adding moss is a trade off. You lose the colour contrast as Green Baron said, but you'll gain textural contrast (larger, lighter green leaves vs fine, darker green leaves).

What's the big mass of plants in the back middle stretching all the way to the left? Hygrophila polysperma? You could replace them with the "rosenervig" variety. They have a nice pinkish leaves which will give you tank more colour, and they require the same care as normal H. polypserma.

The tall stem plant on the left... the next time you trim that bunch, terrace them. You'll get a nicer, fuller effect when they grow back. Cut the front few rows the shortest, the next back few rows a little taller (about 0.5 to 1 inch difference), and the next back few rolls a little taller yet. You can do this with any stem plant. Depending on the effect you want and the plant itself, the difference in height varies.

This tank has very good potential. If you have time and drive to spend on this tank, do as much as you can with it, take pictures often. For all you know you might competition winning pictures to submit for the next few contests... before you join the low maintainance club.

I like the background nicely grown in.

But you can forever keep Limnophila aromatica this short in the right and front. Perhaps can change to Blyxa japonica or Lobelia cardinalis? Plus A.reineckii for some red colour?

    Keep it up!

    Nice looking tank.

Maybe u can add more color contrast.

Although you have red plants, they look green in the photo.
