Hello people, i got a question

Currently i got a 2 gallon low tech tank with 6 boraras and 2 snails.

If i want to make my java fern and taiwan moss look lush.

What can i add/do to them?

Note: I do not wish to spend more than 50 dollars.

    Thanks a lot

how much is your light, in watts.
low lighting is generally slower, and your plants are also slow growers.

btw, any substrate? if yes and if i is aquasoil types like ada/gex. you don't need to add fert. If you using blacksquartz or substrate which is inert and no nutrient value, you can try dose some flourish.

How long has your tank been set up for? I'm given to understand that mosses take a while to adapt to your particular water parameters.
To clarify, and maybe it's just me, your lights are 3W x 8 LEDs?
Flourish from my skim through of the product page provides Nitrogen, Phosphate and traces as well though whether in sufficient amounts or not, that's beyond me.
Excel on the other hand provides a liquid Carbon source for your plants.
In my opinion, dose both but others may recommend you something different.

if the moss is turning light green at the tips, they are growing.

as long the tips are light green, they will grow. growing moss needs some patience Picture of the setup would be good. Better to troubleshoot.

If you like to go easy on the ferts, just buy flourish and dose them accordingly. (Excel if you like but a reminder, excel is not a replacement for C02, it's just carbon source for plants.)

Just flourish comprehensive will do fine. no need dose alot if just moss.
if you going to dose excel, please don't dose too much.... if not the moss will look dark (or should i say like "chao ta"). play by eye and dose accordingly while remebering moss is slow. no new growth on the tips mean no good
