It looks more like a type of loach, and it has terrible white spot!! Please separate it and treat the white spot.
EDIT: It should be from the genus homaloptera, most likely homaloptera orthogoniata

hi Lucas, thank you for your reply. The spots are part of its body patterns. They are not growth. (:
hi Lucas, after searching ' homaloptera
orthogoniata', I realise they indeed do not have any white spots. I thought those were their bodily 'patterns'. Well, as a matter of fact the two I have bought 2 days ago from seaview, had died. That's why I am trying to find out why have they died, say because of my water parameter.
These are really adorable creatures. They will 'hug' the stems of my plants with their fins. ):
Yea, i think they died because of the ich disease, which is the white spot. To cure the disease, raise the temperature to about 30 deg celcius, to shorten the duration of the ich life cycle, then dose ich medication. For the medication, i use a blue liquid from Ocean Free.
If you got these from Seaview you should tell them about it. They should not sell sick fish to their customers and this loach had a severe case of ich. Most of the time, these ich infestations can be dealt with a variety of methods, but some fish can be weakened by it and die from other causes. You should keep an eye out on your other fish because this disease is contagious and if not properly taken care of, will resurface regularly among your fish.
The blue liquid Lucas mentioned is methylene blue, which is recommended for treating this disease. However, it may stain your tank silicone. During the treatment phase, aeration is a must.
These torrent or saddleback loaches require a river-type setup otherwise they will not thrive. This page should help you understand these loaches better:

Note, in this complex, there are several closely related torrent loaches with a similar pattern. I had these before but I doubt they are the same species as yours. They fed on frozen bloodworm and live Tubifex. They were not particularly keen on pellet foods.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
