    Not been to Teo for some time but what crypts does Teo carry typically?

    he readily available crypto grown at his farm includes, becketti, wendtii, willisii, ciliata, both narrow and normal balansae, his recent batch of nurii.. he always has some griffithii floating in one of his concrete ponds

    he sometimes have other crypto, like tonkinensis.. can't remember all the species he had before

    Besides what simon says, he does carry lingua. Try looking at the concrete pond, you might find unusual crypts floating.

    Teos has c.retrospiralis, as for spiralis, i only have 1 stalk in my tank

    I have never seen C. spiralis in Singapore myself, and when I asked Teo, he said he would have to do an order for it..... perhaps interested folk can pool together??

    this link says that the retrospiralis is "not suitable for aquarium". any idea why?

    Different people have their own experiences, but Kasselmann, in her book, notes C. spiralis as an excellent aquarium plant. Please do not confuse C. spiralis and C. retrospiralis...... Go search for references also in Jan Bastmeijer's Cryptocoryne page.

    Hi,

    The plant in the center of this pic is a huge cluster of C.retrospiralis. So I think it shows that c.retrospiralis is very much an aquarium plant.
