    You can start trimming the background stem plants for more bushy growth now.

    Great looking tank!
    I am still envious of how you and the other aquarist managed to keep the water clear despite having a driftwood in the tank.!

    It's an old driftwood I've used for years. So it's been soaked through and through. I boiled it in hot water when I first got it as well, but it still made the water turn brown slowly.
    Every new driftwood will leak tannins, all part and parcel of the experience.

    It's there, hidden along with the filter and maturing water in the boxed crate beside it =)

    With the right moss used, and another way of placement, it can be made to look like a tree as well.

    Very beautiful. Particularly like the selection of driftwood and its thoughtful placement.
