My first 2feet planted tank.

Still gonna buy new plants but I'm wondering what hardy plants to get for the middle portion of the tank. Something that doesn't die out on me and then rebound again. Cuz Ill be demoralized and take out the plant before it can bounce back to life again. And also I'm just wondering how many bubbles shld I see my dispenser giving off? And my java fern at the side seems to be having more and more black spots, is it normal?

What's you tank specs? A Picture of the setup would be good.

If the java fern have a small black spots, those are plant lets growing out of the mother plant.
