Flame moss issue

Hi all. I'm new to this but I recently tied flame and pelia moss to my dw. Pelia moss are just starting to come apart so I took it all off. And I also notice my flame moss turning to a dead brown while some are having new shoots. Just wondering whether those brown ones will produce new shoots in the future or they're gone?

Oh. The brown is horrible! Anyway, you think the outcome would be nice if I mixed 3 types of moss on bogwood? It has many branches I could use. Hahah
