Thanks Lucasjiang! I had a feeling it wasn't a rainbowfish as I troughed through the Internet last night. I suspected that it was a type of killifish but just couldn't find out which particular one. I think you identified correctly. Thanks again!
Not Oryzias latipes, but a young Oryzias woworae, probably female. The markings are distinctive of female woworae. They are not killifish but related closer to halfbeaks and flying fish.![]()

I'm not an expert, so I'm not sure who's right. One thing for sure, it's not a type of rainbowfish. They seem to be peaceful and a good combination with my gertrudaes & furcatas.
