Hi all, i am wondering whether is it possible to connect splitters/T-junction to both in-let and out-let pipes so that a canister can serve 2 small tanks?

I just got an Eheim 2028 for my 4 ft tank and i'm wondering what to do with my existing Jebao.. Perhaps, i can use it for my two 2.5ft spare tanks. The flow rate of my jebao is 1100 L/hr. Pls advise

Also, please let me know what type of maintenance schedule u guys adopt for eheim. I understand from the LFS that the white pad need to be replaced every 1- 2 mths...

You can't split the inlet/outlet pipe like that. This way you cannot ensure that the inflow and outflow of each tank is equal and you run the risk of draining or overfilling the one tank or the other.

The only way is to have both tank on exactly the same level and have a connecting siphon tube between the tanks. Otherwise it is not possible.

Here was a pretty good discussion about CO2 splitters.

err... KF, kelloggs is asking about splitter for filter rather than CO2.

T-joints doesn't wok if both tanks uses different diffusers and at different water height, back pressure will reduce bps tuning.
