growing green algae

have some of his algae growing in my dads lotus pot, thought of collecting some to put on a piece of driftwood

is it possible to grow them in the aquarium? what are their requirements? anyone can share experiences?

I think the "algae" you talking about is moss. i don't think algae can grow out of water.

Haven't been there for quite a while. If my memory serves correctly, I believe it's erect moss.
