you have to do alittle trimming.. just trim off the bottom bit and replant them
i have the same experience. in additional, there is a layer of sap around the roots. is this also normal? its like when there is a dead fish left inside tank for a couple of days, some white stuff will form around it.



don't have the "fungus"/sap problem here - but reducing the toninas - too troublesome to maintain
gosh, i just went into toninas "mainly" tank.![]()
I don't really find what all the hoopla is over these plants. They look a lot like Lagarosiphon and Egeria najas.
They got rooty on me also, I ended up with lots of Tonia all a sudden. It got branchy also.
