quite odd looking wood , might look better if its standing
its actually 2 piece of wood tied together using cable tie, its actually meant to look like a tree while standing, but tank is too short, so make it lying down like a fallen tree effect, while it can provide shelters and hiding spots for future corydras or guppy fries
My ohf leaked earlier and my dsm tank below, is flooded with 1cm water above the soil, what should I do?

Use a length of airline tubing and siphon out the excess water, then resume the DSM.
Alright will do it tonight, thanks

Been almost 2 weeks since I started dsm, here's some pictures of my 2 tank. Is my bichir on the 2nd pic a short body?

hmm... dsm seen any growth? still abit too moist for my comfort, but if can see growth don't touch
i normally don't like see puddles, scared that too much moisture will have the ultra eye sore mold.
is it just me or your pleco in the picture to be eyeing on bichir tail abit too much..... haha

There's growth in both plants, those small puddles will be gone in few days, But my bichir tank are facing a serious crisis. I added a ohf few days ago, temp was around 30-32 at 12am, But these few days It's 33.8 fixed, I'm suspecting It's the pump emitting heat, any suggestion on how to cool it down other than attaching a fan (no space at the top due to ohf) and chiller(way out of budget and space constrains)?

bichir tank hot? think they can stand heat of that degree.... or it is something else?
oh yah, all pumps eletrical driven contribute to heal.

Hands itchy, decided to change whole landscape tonight and when my background plants arrive from mizuworld, decided to add a cave and 2 stones

Finally done, below is up and running with 2 t5 lights.
Added a patch of hc from c328, and a submersed grown cabomba without roots.. Hope all goes well

The star of the tank arrived earlier...
Can't remember their name, But how long does it take for them to root? Hc doesn't seem rooted even after 2 weeks, simple blow is enough to blow them off the soil
