Have you tried C328? I've seen such barbed one, but not the threaded type.
Hi all,
Please advise if you have leads to the following type of nylon connectors - preferably at the western side of Singapore:

5/8" (16mm) Barb and 1/2" (13mm) Thread
I am aware that most hardware stores have the same connector in brass but I would prefer to get the plastic/nylon types.
The difficulty I have is getting the 1/2" (13mm) BSP14 Threaded side because that is smaller than the common 5/8" types.
I believe the same connectors are used in NA Reactors.
Thanks!

Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Unfortunately, I have been to C328 and could not find the suitable part from the tubing connectors' section.
I intend to use a pair of these for the ends of my DIY pH Meter probe. The hardware store (Sun Hee Hardware - off Clementi Ave 2) where I'd obtained the T-joint and female threads, do not carry them. If all else fails, I'll need to make a trip down to the east side where some reefers get their PVC stuff. If anybody in the west side needs these as well, please let me know and I may get extras.
I have plenty of garden hose quick connectors (shown in black/orange) that do not fit as they are mostly 5/8" fittings. I am hesitant to use the brass fittings because of copper leeching from the brass/copper alloy - although it may be a non-issue if anybody can advise.

P.S. I've also tried 2 hardware stores off Upper Bukit Timah (Jln Jurong Kerchil) which also carries a myriad of PVC parts.

seudzar, thanks for the leads.
I decided it was more convenient to simply re-build the unit to take 5/8" threads instead of 1/2".
Went to numerous hardware stores (5 in total) in the west side to source for parts and built 2 units - which were leaky.
Gave up and went to buy the brass version of the 1/2" thread I'd initially wanted and just completed the setup moments ago. Turned out my first attempt was the best as the fitment was much tighter.
pH meter is now in and running well.
If I do travel to the eastern part of Singapore, will take note of the 2 hardware stores you'd recommended.
Cheers & thanks!![]()
