Transfering of Riccia from mesh to log wood

Hi, I brough 2 pieces of Riccia on mesh about 5wks ago. The Riccia have grown from 1/2" height to about 2" now.

I am thinking of do a bit of a re-scaping and transfering the Riccia from the mesh onto my log wood. Can anyone tell me how to do this?

you can remove the riccia and use a net and tie to the driftwood

Hi, please forgive my ignorance, I'm very new. How do I remove the Riccia in the first place? It seemed like the Riccia have grown into the mesh.

Can I just trim the top layer of the Riccia and use these to net onto the wood?

if you purpose is to propagate and not just transfer, then use a scissor and cut off the amount you need for the driftwood.. Riccia is rootless, u can rip it out of the mesh and retie them anywhere and any way you feel like.. no experience needed
