    I don't even bother with cleaning brushes hahaha! I stuff as BIG a piece of sponge into the hose as possible, then attach that end to the tap and use the tap pressure to force the sponge out the other end.

    Ok I just visited Y618. They don't have clear greyish hoses, only green ones.

    i used this method too! but only when i'm decomming a tank, and keeping the hoses for future use.
    However, weekly maintenance, i'll just use a lily pipe cleaner to clean out the 'visible' part of the lily pipe and hose. The rest of the dirty hose is just kept behind and inside the cabinet until i decom the tank.
