Was at Aquarama on Saturday, saw the winning 3ft tank. I think the photo is not doing justice to it lol. It looks well better! What's brand is the co2 diffuser?
On another note, the 1st prize nano tank has very long grass as the background. Are those the same as the normal in plastic pot found at LFS?

The photo was taken right after setup so its slightly couldy and all the plants are sleeping. The hairgrass is eleocharis parvula, it can grow to 15cm if grown in fertilize soil with plenty of light. The one you bought from LFS is emerge thus shorter.

yes it does, open internationally, the 3rd place for 3ft tank is from Sri Lanka but don't expect to have many overseas participants. First of all, the prize does not worth the trouble. Imagine need to carry rocks, wood and plants from their home country. In fact, I was not planning to participate in 3ft tank because carrying 100kg worth of rocks without your own car is very painful. Fortunately my partner drive in from Malaysia.

I love FNT5 and FNT4 the most.
My aquarium blog: http://aquasense-aquasense.blogspot.com/
Personally felt that FNT5 was my favourite. Congrats to all winners!!
Great job, Robert!
Need something to scratch that itchy hand of mine.
Don't act smart. Be smart!

congrats Robert, but imo FNT 5 and 6 should swap placing, I prefer FNT 5 more , probably FNT 6 is neater?
anyway yours is really nicely done, truly deserve the 1st place
Do not visit LFS if you got nothing in mind, you will end up getting nothing or useless stuff ......

Congrats Robert,
Back from oversea on Sunday morning. Managed to catch the show in the afternoon.
Don't know those are your great works. Well done![]()
