Eheim filters comes with media?

When we purchase brand new Eheim canister filter from our LFS, does the price include full set of media and piping?

Majority of the Eheim canister filters come with full media and piping included, but there might also be some specific filter packages with no media included (some people want that as they prefer to use their own media), so you need to check the package contents to confirm before buying.

Thanks! Is there a good filter for at least 1000 l/h that is not Eheim? More affordable but trustworthy?

I was looking at Classic 2217 but the rated power consumption is high than the pro 2073/2075.

Maybe you can try Atman canister filters, they are generally cheaper.

I used a 2nd hand one for a while before i switched to Eheim filters, it ran quite well and was relatively quiet. I still keep it as a spare filter.

Where can I find the specs for Atman? Does C328 sell them?

It is higher but not without a reason. 2217 Classic have one of the highest Hmax for the same class ~1000l/hr
