You can try just raising the lights higher above the tank (maybe DIY some extension brace or light stand), that can help reduce the amount of light reaching the moss.
Reducing the number of hours the light is on can help too.
Hi all, currently have a 3x1x1 shrimp tank with mini fissiden tied on some dw and bw,got the minis from a bro, very green and lush, however when into my tank, after a few months, I noticed the area exposed nearer to light tend to get brown and dying.
Am using a chiller at 24 to 25degrees,no co2 and using aquazonic 2tubes 39w T5ho, only on one tube at a time, tube also changed to 6500k..
Time on daily is about 6 to 8 hrs.
Was told that probably too much light and because of height of tank, that's why exposed.
Though of changing lights, but afraid be the same, what can I do?
