It has been almost a year since I do my last aquascapingscape 1.jpg. Decided to do a setup in the office. Specification as follow.

    - 2ft low iron tank (60cm x 30cm x 36cm)
    - Substrate in front approximate 5cm (2 inch)
    - ADA substrate Amazonia 1 and 2
    - Intended lighting 4 x 24w T5 at 6 to 8 hours a day
    - No chiller as there is aircon in office
    - Filtration by Eheim 2213
    - Intended CO2 output at 3-4 BP
    - Foreground plant not yet decide

Need comments on the setup and foreground plant to be planted. All comments are welcome.

Move the left side rock slightly to the right. Reduce a bit of the right rock size by buried it. Need more rocks smaller than right rock but bigger than current rock that you placed around the big rock. You can also reduce the front substrate thickness, 1 inch is good enough for foreground like glosso or HC.

did some crude edit, remember on the 3:2 ratio. The blue line is suppose to be bigger rock to smooth the transition between big rock and soil. Currently is too drastic but you can also use plants to do it.

I used to do steep slopes like these but as time goes by the soil eventually got even out by shrimps and the rocks kind of got shifted. Try inserting some plastic card boards etc in the soil to reinforce the slopes.

Did use some glass sheet to prevent soil erosion. Thanks for reminding

Let the carpet plant to grow and cover the whole area before you introduce any fauna.
