New in aquarium setting

I'm new in this hobby and are trying to learn from all of you about setting up my aquarium.

Hope i can get some expert advice from you all. At the same time, I hope I can get some second hand stuffs to set my 1st aquarium.

What kind type of fishes do you intend to keep? =)

I love guppies and tetras. But to keep both of them in the tank, the water parameter is a bit tricky. Have to really control well in the ph level. I'm intending to re-aqua scape my old 2ft tank with some shrimps too. Any advice on what kind of plants should I get.
