For economic reason planning to switch to Dry Fertiliser. However the recommended dosage hard to visualize. Can someone enlighten me how to estimate 1/8 teaspoon, 1/32 teaspoon. Also can I drop the dry fertiliser into the tank without premixing with water?.

If I am not wrong, a teaspoon is 5ml.....so you need to do your divisions. I strongly advice not to drop the dry fertilizer into your tank without premixing with water.

Rise up your mixed water volume, so you don't end up with small dosage, which hardly to measured.

    What fertilizer is that? brand?
I prefer to premix it with water before putting it in the tank
    it will dilute faster.

You can get measuring spoons at bakery stores or supermarkets sometimes down to usually 1/8 teaspoon, 1/16 is available but hard to find. Only real good way to estimate 1/32 teaspoon is to dilute it with a known volume of water (1/8 tsp into 400mL of water and then dose 100mL for example, if you're dosing something very soluble, 40mL and then 10mL is okay). It's not very critical to be accurate though with EI dosing, as much as 2x more is actually okay, as long as you keep up with water changes.

What a relief! After all those mind boggling numbers. Today realised that a cup can also be called a spoon. Thanks zerofighter for the solution. You think its a good fertilizer?. I chose it after reading about it in the forum and also because of the convenience of all in one. Yes have bought myself KH2PO4 thanks for the thought. Hope it works

For all who are interested in ordering MMNM, please take note
MMNM contains potassium nitrate which is a control substance in Singapore.
So before anyone make any order, do read about it and be aware of what will happen
if the shipment is stop. The alternative of Potassium nitrate is calcium nitrate.
