i think if you search for Plant "Ceratopteris thalictroides" in the flora album, you will find the picture.

moss-seow, I highly doubt you will get any plant for less than $1 per pot here. But you make a very pertinent observation. So many folks spend time and effort trying to get the best lorbang for a product. The farms or some far away LFS in Clementi or Serangoon North may have really cheap plants, but if you are going to spend $1.50 on bus fare just to get there for that one plant, surely it's better to buy from your neighbourhood LFS which may sell it at $2.

Anyway, I have seen the fern at Eco Culture. Please do not ask me how much does it cost.

Having travelled to quite a few countries, I am really sadden by fellow hobbyists here complaining that plants are expensive and want to find cheap lobang. Our prices in Singapore are unbeatable as it is!

If you think plants here are expensive, try buying a pot in Tokyo, London or Frankfurt. I am sure your opinion would change.

If you don't want to buy plants, you can always do exchanges at Splash where hobbyists meet regularly...You can always trade and exchange plants with hobbyist and make a few friends and widen your social circle.

    Just my two cents.

Well, to date. If I see something rare I would be buy. I think I did not make myself clear enough. I just want say we are already very fortunate to have access to many aquatic plants that are affordable.

Well, you cannot deny that there are people who wants things cheap. I apologise that I misunderstood your post. Well, happy planting the. Cheers!

Folks in SG are as bad as folks in the USA, cheap buggers.
Local plant swaps are great to get neat plants, water sprite is a complete weed, people/hobbyist give it away here.
    There are two main forms.
Narrow and wide leaf. I like the narrow.
