    Hi

I had been using rotala indica as my red plant for almost a year. After doing some changes to my tank, i decided to change another red plant.

I am still deciding on which of the above two should i used.

Can anyone help me with the following comparison:

    1) Which is redder?
    2) Which has a faster growth rate?
    3) Which is easier ?
    4) Finally, which do you refer?

If you have not try both of the above, you can also give your views of either of the two plants that you had tried or are trying at the moment.

    Thks.

Macrandra is more demanding. but it grows more vertically.

Arcuata isn't easy to make it blood red. Usually it becomes dull red. It will give you a more bushy plant and shaping would be easier.

The above are my 2 cents worth
