    Hi, guy I had a ehiem pro 2028 filter do you think that I can use for my 2x1.5x1.5 feet marine tank am I over kill and what is the size of the hose that I can buy those transparent hose from local hardware shop 16/22mm going to set up next weekend any advise is much appreciated

    My advice is to buy your hose from an LFS. Hardware shop's hoses are not meant for aquarium and prolonged contact with water.

    Flow rate for 2028 is 1050 l/h, since use for marine, chiller is required. Therefore, flow should be very much reduce after going through the chiller. I think should be alright.

    Thank sam for your advide but I not keeping sps just normal corals so not intend to invest a chiller it there a level where I can adjust the flow rate.

    Yes there is a lever that allows you to adjust your flowrate. It is good as it is large enough and provides additional filtration capacity and water for your tank.
