Well. Its been 2 weeks since holidays started and I want to redo my 2ft tank. Im considering a school of cories and an angelfish. Going for a bare amazon look. Currently I just bought sand, have sponge filters and the tank itself. What hardscape should i use and should I consider having plants?

Shoud I get broad leaf plants like amazon swords or jungle val? I think they promote spawning. And how do I get the water to have a light tea colour?

So I just rinsed the sand for 2 hours which I bought from y618 #2 size and it turned my water cloudy with a milky tint. Help!

If the sand is still in the pail, continue rinsing it(fill, stir, drain, repeat till water clear) if It's in the tank, give it few hours to settle down
