Larvae pest! help needed

Been running a tank of ADA soil for shrimps with canister + chiller at 24 degrees.

However lately been noticing alot of brown mosquito lookalike around the tank. There are many larvae hanging around the side of the tank at water level. The larvae looks like an empty shrimp shell but moving around alot, sometimes swimming in the water.
Lifestock as 10 firered , 2 yamoto and 1 oto.

Immediately as adviced by a friend, i added in 4 Endlers Guppies , 6 tetras. However the problem still persist. Water change 20% had been done twice over the last 4 days.


Any solution ?

manual removal as an immediate remedy? improve water aeration to make it a bad environment for the mosquitos to lay eggs
