Need help with plant identification

Hi everyone,

May any kind soul help me with the identification of the plant in the picture?







A couple of questions:

1.) What are the name and characteristics of the plant?
2.) Are the hanging roots in the 2nd and 3rd picture normal?

Looks like water sprite to me, easy to grow plant. It will grow roots from stem joints...considered normal

Is it possible to trim them below the roots and re-plant them again?

did you check online pictures of water sprite with the plants you have? are they really water sprites? hehe I hope I am not wrong :P

if its water sprite, just trim and replant as they are notorious grower... bushy & nice back ground plant to have
