Okay. I thought if you find the bottom piece a bit out of place, you can remove it and use the brass bubble checker knob above the cap to tighten the hose directly to the solenoid. Then buy a check valve and connect it just before the bubble counter. Just a suggestion

Hehe thanks for the suggestion, as long as it's outside of tank i doesn't really care much about the look

I will be getting another brass check valve and bubble counter this weekend as i am working late shift and by the time i finish work, the shop closes already

It will be set up in the following orders:
Co2 cylinder > Solenoid > Inbuilt check valve > Brass check valve > Bubble counter > Brass check valve > Atomizer > Tank.

Re: NA - OF electrical solenoid + 3L Co2 Cylinder

I just bought the OF solenoid too this noon from NA and i hear hissing sound from the bubble counter top portion. I think the thread to hold the CO2 tubing is too short and thus caused this to happen. I removed the rubber washer from the top bubble counter and go over the tubing and this solved my problem. Initially wanted to buy JBJ but not sure why Seaview and NA JBJ is different from the ones I see online with JBJ wording on the huge nut and the meters.

No problem bro, with the rubber washer or without the rubber washer, the tube will slide out by itself when I tried this afternoon. So far it is still secure. Hope it will not leak!

Re: NA - OF electrical solenoid + 3L Co2 Cylinder

Since today i am free after morning badminton session with my colleague, i tried again to thread seal, but this time thread seal everywhere as long as i can see thread. I even thread seal the top part where the hose connects to the brass bubble counter. It works! But strange thing is, the bps from 3bps drop to 1bps. Weird.

Place that i thread seal again. Don't know why the bps will drop over time, but it's stable at 1bps.

    Side track abit:
I tried to remove the rubber seal and run the equipment, the water drips out straight. It doesn't work for my case.

your Atomizer is like that, after a while BPS will drop due to pressure build-up. If you have bad luck and have a regulator that gives less then 30PSI (i think, don't flame me i am typing based on memory), if not mistaken it won't even work. if your have problems with the seal, very easily will leak.

Actually i do own one of your Atomizer, mine after 30 minutes... 0.5BPS !!!!! was 2BPS only..
But then, most Atomizer/inline nowdays. after it is working a while then you start adjusting might be better. Cause i also experience this with my previous inline (which i broke somehow).

The atomizer you are using requires minimum 25psi to work but i find it works better with psi 30-35 (more bubbles). I am using it now.

Side track:- this atomizer's quality is questionable, mine leak within 2 weeks of operation,i glue it back using epoxy.

Thanks for the review you all shared regarding this OF solenoid.... Seems like a design problem.

Check out my Blog on planted tank, good for newbies ( i am lazy to retype all the info i know, so please click and read below link... i hope you don't fall asleep while reading)

hi bro felix, it's my first time using Co2 and i bought hastily without studying much about it.

From what i see from gauge, its showing 30psi but it might be giving a wrong reading. But anyway the atomizer is still working and my drop checker is showing blue-ish green so i think i will leave it for now. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Hi bro wongce, no problem. We should help one another

I have been using the atomizer for about 1 week since the start of this setup.

If everything stops working, i think i will be changing to another brand.
