    I am using a Hailea 130A

Recently the compressor seems to be getting noiser, I suspect it is starting to require a gas refill or refreshing.

Anyone here has any idea if I am right or wrong?

If I am right, how do I refill it, I know how to refill aircons but I cannot seem to find an opening meant for refill on the compressor.

    Re: Chiller question

I enquired a vendor once about topping refrigerant for chiller. His reply was chiller a meant to be a close loop system that don't require top up.

He said, if it does require a top up, mostly likely there is a leak in the loop. Meaning the chiller requires regular topping up and deemed not worth using in the long run.

I don't think gas have any relation with noise. My guess probably some lose screw.

those shops that tells u need regular top up for fridges vehicles chillers aircon are just lazy or jus wan easy money.

either u find e leak once n for all or just keep paying to top up.

Yeah, you're not meant to use up the gas, anyways to fill these things (like a fridge or what not), you'd either have to use fittings that puncture the tube and then later crimp off and reseal the end, or braze/solder on some real schrader valves.

    Re: Chiller question

if your chiller unable to chill the water and the fan still running, then most likely the refrigerant is leaking. But if it is still able to chill the water, and only louder noise, maybe be some screw loosen or fan dirty
