    after a very generous donation of blyxa japonica by juggler (cheers!),
    the above is my aquascape.

    far from perfect, i would like some comments from your guys on how to improve.

    i was thinking of getting more hair grass to plug up the holes in the foreground, and use cyperus helferi (or lookalikes) to cover the back right area to hide my equipments. maybe if my driftwood looks too empty i would tie some moss or nanas to decorate it ...

    how is this?

    the wood gives a feel of mystic. :P It should be nice when matured.

    i like it very much as it is. don't add any more plants. the choice you have already makes the setup look zen-like and bigger than it actually is.

    the driftwood pieces are remarkable. but the fishes would look nicer if they are fewer and of the same species or kind. that's just my opinion.
