Considering upgrade to canister filter and a custom made stand

Hi everyone,

I am currently using a Fluval C3 HOF for my 2ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank. In light of the arrival of the GST Vouchers, I am considering two more additions to my setup.

1. A canister filter from Eheim

I have done some research and narrowed it down to 3 options, all from Eheim. But I will like to seek some opinions before I jump into the purchase.

Ecco Pro 300
Professional 3 350
Classic 350

I will like to seek some advice and find out which is the most suitable for the size of my tank.

2. A stand for my fish tank

Also does anyone know where can I get / custom make a stand that fits the size of my current tank? I was told that the dimensions were quite unusual, so I may have to custom make a stand.

If it's gonna be full planted tank, 10x flow from your tank volume will be apply.. Regardless the model.

If budget allow, buy pro3. You gain the advantage from '3'

If plan to upgrade chiller & inline diffuser later, consider pump flow rate more less than 1500l/hr.

East Ocean actually has a 2 x 1.5 x 1.5 tank and cabinet set. You can ask if they sell the cabinet separately.

I am also actually considering getting normal 2ft tank but want to get a deeper cabinet like 1.5ft deep to allow me to place things behind the tank like bottles liquid fertilisers/ fish food. Also the added depth will give more storage in the cabinet below....
