Bryan is correct.
Vincent - AQ is for everyone, but not for 'u' and 'mi'.
Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

however, do not use the term "APP" at plantas.
wait Alan pretend dun understand and dun sell u any. =pppp lol

Y issit called ah pek plant?

Named after the Ah-Pek who has a plant farm in Lor Halus. He was the first to have it for sale I suppose.

I think it was lady by the name of Marie who coined the term APP sometime in Jan 2002. See this post by Dennis ("Nature") quoted here:
More evidence here too."tell you some history of APP on this site :
APP got popular last year when a lady of the name Marie posted the picture and asked for id. And one of the senior (I think it was Jacian? who is now a mod of the forum) also posted a very nice aquascape of it. Then almost everyone want to know where to get it. The only source was from an old man at the old Tampines fish farm who was well known as "Ah Pak". And hence the name Ah Pak's Plant (APP) created. I think it was Marie created it during one of the ICQ session we had.
The last I learnt that Marie gave up the hobby and sold some equipments at the forum ads.
Anyway you know it is quite rare to have woman interested in keeping fish and plant and participate the forum.
And then later in one of the discussion Jacian found the id of the plant from his reference book and I did a search on the web and found some bio-reference
and second the finding by Jacian.
So APP=Elantine Triandra was confirmed. By the way it is a native plant in south america but our local source was first taken in from Taiwan. Ah Pak could be the pioneer.
But not sure if Ah Pak at his new site still selling this ? Last time it was quite tough to buy from him. Only when Ah Pak was happy than sell you a small handful at $5. Really depends on his mood."
