Wrinkle nana leaves

Just trying to get into planted tank, so started with some hardy plants...
Try some nana for a start... after 3 weeks introducing the plant, observed the edge of the leaves start to wrinkle as time goes on.
i have tried not to apply too much light, giving 30W for 4 hours in the morning and 4 hours more in the everning. Applied the JBL liquid fertilizer at the beginning. Temperature at around 28degC with DIY Co2. There are around 20 guppies, 2 cory, 3 suckerfish, 8 cardinal tetra and a few yamato in the 24"x12"x12" tank.
Can anyone advise on why the wrinkle occurs? could it be too moch or insufficient of something?

I've been collecting anubias family for quite a time.
My feeling you bought the anubias nana spec wrinkle leaf
So seems everything just fine and make sure the water in constant cool temperature as well as low light intensity.
Otherwise algae will start infecting in your nana....

13-186, From your post, I assume the plant did not have wrinkled leaves when you bought it?

How wrinkled? Got pictures?

Give your plants consistent lighting (it's not the cause of the wrinkle leaves though). And a maximum of 12 hrs. They'll do better that way... even hardy plants. You'll just have to sacrifice either seeing them before going to work or after coming home.

Me also having this problem with my nana...
i saw those plant planted on emersed based...without having this problem, so is this the main cause of the leaf that wrinkled?
Anyone have this experience b4 on emersed based nana rather planted inside the aqua-tank?
Please advise.

Maybe this particular variety of Anubias only developes wrinkled leaves when submersed. Maybe A.Chen can clarify on this.

Took some pic, can pls let me know how to do the attachment to this mail?
I purchase two types of anubias (got them from a farm, didnt manage to get the real name) at the same time and both originally was planted emerse. But now all the leaves had become wavy at the edge which developed some "burn-like" brown color.
ya, maybe they both develop wavy leaves in submerse form...
I am thinking of introducing some (floating) riccia or pennywort (hydrocotyle), in order to reduce the light intensity (and hope to bring down the temperature for the anubias). Would that be advisable?

I think wavy is a better word. That looks normal.

You are right, the appropriate word should be "wavy".

I adopt "wrinkle leaves" word when I first bought 5 buckets of nana at Amsterdam.
But mine still more wavy than the above picture.
Try to shoot mine and post once available....
