    Hi,

Saw it at Fishy Business and it looks amazing. The double LED version is simply too expensive to consider, as for the single LED version, would it be sufficient to be used for 60cm x 30cm x 36cm to plant HC and hair grass?

I read somewhere, their led is not getting good reputation compare to solar. Maybe it works if you use dual with 2-3 hr overlap each other. Though Its pricey though

The 602 is too pricey... It will be cheaper to customize a stand with evo LED as compared to the Aquasky 602.

I suppose that if ADA puts their item out for sale, it will be able to grow most, if not all plants.

Price wise, i'm sure you can get much better stuff if you're not that brand concious and particular about how your item looks.

But if you're willing to spend, do give it a try and let us know how it goes!

Looking at the led wattage 0.4w each, I would pass. I would look for a 3w led.

Same here... I would go DIY 3w LEDs with that amount of budget 😊

I will prefer 3w LED if I am paying so much for a light set.

It would very much depend on what depth of the tank and plant that you would be growing at substrate level.

ADA designed this product based on their line of products, thus they are designed for 36CM height tanks.
One who buys ADA items are willing to fork out the premuim for the exclusive design and make of the equipment, as well as for the brand.

if heart cannot part with that money.. don't look haha... wait floor wet...

good but branded, but if you can only afford the lower version which might not yield good enough result. why not just get less branded less chic brand's higher model?

think ts can go for alternative brands. how many non hobbyist know what brand is ada lor...

Re: 2ft Aquasky LED - Single

I have seen the Aquasky in operation at one of the LFS.

The plants were pearling like crazy.

Let me try to get a photo tomorrow.

Night light? It's still bright to grow plants.

I'm not brand conscious just like the overall look of the light, of course functionality is important with that kind of money.

My tank is a 4x2x1.75 on 300 watts of MH. The problem is that when the lights goes off, the Altums go berserk...need a dimmer lights for another 1/2 hour to lights off.

If you don't like it after placing as night light, I might be open to get it from you at used item price haha.
