just buy from c328, any idea will it bite or eat shrimplets? its about 1 to 1.5cm in size

Either Mosquito rasbora or b merah. Cant really see as picture colour not clear.

Thanks Sakuras its should be Boraras merah as its not that red in colour.

merah has a black dot. boraras has a longer black stripe. it wont bother your shrimps.
and they don't seem shy at all.

I had those in my shrimp tank before (they were introduced to help eat up tiny copepods and planaria, very common in shrimp-only tanks).

They usually don't bother juvenile or adult shrimps, but they will still have a go at new-born shrimplets (those tiny 2-3mm size transparent ones), i've observed them stalking and hunting tiny shrimplets before, most probably because the new-born shrimplets look and move abit like copepods too. But if you provide alot of hiding spaces for the shrimplets, majority of them will survive big enough not to be eaten.

If you are not too worried about a few new-born shrimplets getting eaten along the way, then those fishes are okay to add to the tank... but if you are trying to breed expensive CRS shrimps, and every shrimplet is important to keep alive, then maybe its better to keep them separately.

It look like mosquito rasbora but your pics is not clear.

Rule of the thumb
Fish can and will eat anything that it can fit in it's mouth, if cannot fit can shred and eat slowly. "When hungry enough"!.

I had about 8 Boraras family fish in my storage tank that has cherry and malayan shrimps. Do see shrimplets but very little... all become mid-day snacks....
P.S: most of the balance shrimplets are cherries, malayan go through larvae stage and are smaller then the average shrimplet.... 98% became snacks...
