MH lights configuration

Understand that MH lights that Gan used is with the Biolast built into the Pendant light. Is that correct?

Recently, I checked with a light store, they have to offer MH lights with external Biolast.
Could the team here provide the pros and cons of having the internal and external biolast.?

Anyone has the link to the address for the MH lights that GAn has?

Those MH are from Keong Seong. So perharps you can try there

Assuming you are talking about the ones over his big tank, unless Gan changed the pendants since we set up for him, they should be external ballasts in the cabinet.

you should be considering external ballast. why?
1) mh is very hot - external ballast allows the electronic circuitry to work at much cooler temperature, extending operating life.
2) smaller pendant - looks better

downside - slightly more wires but easily managed.
