you need to tell them, else the job requires you to start during holiday will land you in a tight fit..

alright. thank you to both of you!

Normally company will have 2nd or/and 3rd round of interview. Asked them how many round is the interview. If multiple round and this is your first round of interview then don't say anything but if it is your last round then better tell. Ask them indirectly such as what is your on leave policy during probation period? If you are allowed to take leave during probation period then you don't even need to tell but if it not then you better tell them.
The thing is interview is about impression, if you tell them the first round, the impression will be very bad. Something like, I have not even offer you the job and you already tell me want to take leave.
Just my opinion

My take is that you should tell them about the holiday. This kind of things they should understand as they know people plan holidays ahead of time. It should not affect your chances. If it does, you really should wonder whether you want to work with them as it reflects their (not necessary the whole organisation's, but the head of that unit's) attitude about staff's work-life balance.
It'll help them plan your upcoming interviews (if any) and your start date.
