Why use punctuation? See what a difference it makes:A woman, without her man, is nothing.
A woman: without her, man is nothing.

There are actually much more wonderful things to see, but you gotta really look into the smallest corners.
The 2 turtle is really something new to me. I think i will be going there more often these days.

Singapore has a huge amount of nature left, if one knows what nature truly is (i don't mean Bishan Park type of playgrounds)..... by all means explore these hidden treasures but please DO NOT ever catch wild creatures OR release pets in these places (or any place). Sad to say, sharing the locales of such spots is a risk, as many people profess to be nature lovers only to turn out to be poachers when left to their own devices.
heh.. is that shitake..
lorba, what you saw were 2 very rare native softshell turtles, Dogania subplana (Geoffroy, 1809). Common name is Forest Soft-Shell Turtle. They're supposedly nocturnal but you saw these in bright daylight. A lucky sighting indeed. Maybe next time I should tag along to catch a glimpse of this rare animal. Like they say, take pictures, not the animals.
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
Lorba, so lucky to see those turtles. I tongpang your thread to show people here some skinks I saw also at the Pierce Reservoir Trail.
why I don't do garden hybrids and aquarium strains: natural species is a history of Nature, while hybrids are just the whims of Man.

really? I am so lucky huh? The turtle are camoflaged among dead leaves and roots. It was only by chance that we caught a glimpse of them.
