The fish mostly stay together or dissappear from sight only to reappear during feeding time. They don't swim a lot, mostly static and few will be separated occassionally only to be regrouped later. Funny little fish unlike schooling tetras.

    Hi Shadow,

Nice! I admire your skilful choice of plants/wood/rocks to make your aquascape seem much bigger than its tank size.

May I know the temperature of your tank water? I can't get my moss to thrive at 29 degrees. From your experiences, is it possible to grow them at 29 degrees?

For this tank sincein the office, water temp around 25-27. It is depend on the moss species, what moss do you have? I tried spiky moss, flame moss, singapore moss, java moss and US fissiden, no problem in 28-29 C

Hi Shadow, not sure which one it is. It grew out of one of my driftwood, given to me by tank's previous owner.

I've tried to trim it once to encourage growth. But mostly I've left it alone, and it has pretty much stayed this size, no bigger than my thumb.

Can you identify it for me? Can you tell me more about how you grow moss in your tank?

that look like flame moss, curl and pointing upward. There is nothing special about growing moss. Just leave it and it will grow. Flame moss will not spread side way.

It is not possible to have no CO2 because CO2 is every where. The correct word should be no CO2 injection

30cm!? Unbelievable wonder. If I have this tank in my office, all work will cease.

Never try taking picture of fish in the fishbowl, the picture may distorted due to bowl curvature.
