Does anyone have any experience with a bare bottom shrimp tank with only some moss, mini pellia and riccia tied to stones?
Would the kH, Gh & pH be too high for the shrimps to molt or give birth?

Thank you in advance. Sorry to be posting here, don't know where else that this should fit in.

    Re: Bare bottom shrimp tank

usually people put a dark layer of substrate so that the colours of the shrimp will stand out more. if you want to go bare bottom, yet see the guys as beautiful, maybe you can stick black oyama at the bottom.

kh gh ph will depends on what other stuff you add to the tank, soil or not, it doesnt make much of a difference unless you have soil that helps to buffer the kh gh or ph.
