    Hi,

    May i know wheather its normal for the solenoid temperature to become 'hot' when turn ON for few hours??

    Anybody can advise me ?

    Bro.... yes... the solenoid tends to get abit hot when on after a few hours.... it's normal... as long as the casing housing the solenoid doesn't bulge or expand, it's okay....

    how hot is hot? this is subjective.
    with a good solenoid, you are able to place your hand on the solenoid. the heat generated should not 'burn' your hand.

    I think my solenoid generate heat will burnt hand when turn On abt 1-2 hours.
    Is that normal ??

    My old one last time is hot until burn hand, later it gave several loud popping sounds and erupted a plastic volcano on its casing.

    Wow...that means my new solenoid bought from NA goan die again?
    Today i call up NA asking them this question,the lady told me its normal for solenoid to generate such a burning heat.

    Its Ok , i am still using it now.
    you sell me the set in good condition but its my own problems that do not know how to use it.
    No problems ,dont feel sad.

    I fact i am very happy that you still gve me good advise after selling me the CO2 set. I gain some experience and get to know a nice guy like you.

    Just to share, my solenoid do gives out HOT burning temps but still works It even gets hot just after 10 minutes of operation. I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. In worst case it will just burnout and seize to function.
