Rasbora kalochroma. Found in Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo.
Length including tail - up to 4 inches.

Information from "Rasboras" Dr Martin R. Brittan

I have not kept this fish before, but at 4 inches, probably needs
a big aquascape to look nice in.

    Cheers
    Chong

I was pretty shocked when I know this fish can be found in Johor!

Anyway, easy to keep but VERY VERY greedy fish...it swims fast..always the first to get the food..so..at the end of the day..the fish would be fat..out of shape.......anyway it's the comon problem for medium sized rasbora...

Currently, I'm keeping this fish, like Mr Tree said, its an easy fish. However in order for the clown rasbora to show its beautiful colour, the tank has to be densely planted and left a small space in front for viewing.

    Dear dcd,

Sorry but your heavy use of sms forms of English makes your post difficult to read.

Rasbora kalochroma (and its close relative R. kottelati) are very beautiful largish rasboras. As mr tree noted, they are voracious eaters and also like to jump. They are blackwater fish, so tend to be sensitive to poor water quality (I find they are also prone to ich, which requires a bout of salt treatment).

like altum said, go buy the book Rasboras by Martin Brittan (available in Borders or Kino) for comprehensive information about rasboras and their allies. At less than $20, it's a steal.

    hi budak,
i am so sorry about it!

ok, yeah, i think so abt the ich issue too, anyway, i got some back and not doing well in my main plant tank, i shift them into my 'black water setup' tank and they recover, i guess, they need a lower ph, and dark water is doing them , they are doing fine with my croaking gouramis.
