Why.do you need to put turtles together with an arowana?
The second picture looks like a Mata mata turtles. Why would you need an ambush predator with quite a powerful bite force in your tank?

Personally, I would not. Because, I may be wrong here but Mata Matas when grown, can be aggressive. They are ambush predator with quite a bite force. I think they are part of the snapping turtle species.
Handle with extreme care when you maintain tank and requires you to put your hand in.
Perhaps you may like to do an Internet search?

Mata mata belong to the same family as the snake-necked turtles (Chelyidae), but yeah, they are potentially aggressive aquatic ambush predators. I think both the mata mata and softshell turtles are likely to nip at your fishes.
I am however concerned as to whether it's legal to own mata mata or softshell turtles in Singapore.![]()
Small is beautiful.
Thanks for clearing the species thingy up. I am wondering the same as you if it's legal and/or even made its way into Singapore...imagine finding this in our natural waterways or nature reserve...disaster.
