well, since nothing died in your tank, its probable that the chlorine level in your water is insignificant by the time it reaches you

hi,
just a curious question to ask. i normally freeze chunks of ice to put in my 4ft tank to help the fan bring down the temp (do it before the lights come on, usually can maintain 26 degrees or lower throughout the day ) and top up water at the same time. i freeze water direct from the tap overnite, will this keep the chlorine (n chloramine) lock in ? when releasing the ice into my tank, am i also releasing the chlorine in too![]()

with logical evaluation, i guess that the chlorine will still be frozen together with the water...

though nothing died yet (touch woooood) but i worry about the long term exposure to chlorine/chloramine if it is indeed still present. anyway thanks for the comments![]()
