Are you looking for a solenoid or a regualtor with a solenoid valve?

I've been using a taiwanese solenoid regulator for more than 4 yrs now and it's been pretty good serving it's purpose. I remember NA sells pretty reasonable priced regulator. May want to check it out.
    Cheers!!

You can also check under the market place in this forum. Sometimes, there may have good deals.

pai seh, I was given a cylinder with a manual regulator. Thinking of using "solenoid" to connect to a timer to control the timing of the release of the CO2. Didn't know the difference between solenoid and a regular with solenoid valve

Will read up a little more on this.

Have been looking out at the market place... but dare not buy as I am not sure which are the better ones... if it spoil after purchased from some nice guys in the forum, also pai seh to return to them... So, just to play safe with a more reliable brands....

Why dont you bring your manual regulator there and get Chan (if you dunno how to) to convert it to one with a solenoid type. Cheaper... also better coz he uses a generic solenoid which can be bought almost everywhere.

Chan knows how to convert a manual one to a solenoid regulator? I asked him about 2 weeks ago and he told me it is impossible.

    Hi Ah Tong and Cacatuoides,

Care to share the brand of the solenoid that you are having? I will probably be going to NA to get the solenoid, but read so much about some brands break down easily, some exploded, etc...

I believe there are many bros out there who are currently using solenoid, just hoping that they would share their experience on the brand that they are using...

    Thanks.

do note that most solenoid valve are rated up to 10bar operating pressure. a co2 tank pressure is almost 70 bars. always connect the solenoid valve after the regulator.
