I've seen the 2ft low-iron high clarity glass tanks in stock at Green Chapter, dimensions are 60cm width x 30cm depth x 36cm height... retailing at S$105.

I've not seen Gex low iron glass tanks locally before and so, can't comment on the price. May I ask where have you seen them before?

currently i'm using one 45cm front curved tank don't know which brand, compare to my other normal tank a lot better, edge a bit light blue/green. I though it's low iron. anyway, will see physical to decide.

Here is a photo showing the difference between normal glass, acrylic and low-iron/crystal glass:

Its very easy to tell the difference, just look at the edges of the glass against a white background, if you see a greenish tint, that that is normal glass... if you see a bluish or clear tint then its low-iron/crystal glass.
Once they are filled with water and placed side-by-side, the difference is even more noticeable, the normal glass tanks will look less clear, while the low-iron/crystal tanks will look much sharper.

Off the shelf low iron glass tanks are the ANS OptiCube Series. You can find them at Seaview, GC, EOA.
Of course, not forgetting the ADA tanks that I always see in my dreams..

today went to one LFS in CCK, saw the rainbow low iron tank. then asked the owner if there is any 2ft version, to my surprise I got a quote of 6x, I can't believe it. 2ftx1ftx36cm only 6x? can anyone confirm it? I don't mind cut away the IOS if the price really that low.
Where did you get that price? I think a lot of us here wouldn't mind doing what you mentioned, buying at $6X and removing the IOS if not needed

Yeah, $60+ for a 2ft high-clarity glass tank is a good price, as cherabin mentioned, the tanks of that size and quality currently seen on the market are usually around $100+.
I guess for those who are visiting the shop, it'll be good to re-confirm with them that the tank is built using the exact same low-iron glass quality and minimal silicone workmanship (in case they might have mis-quoted based on normal glass tank version).
If anyone does order it and its the correct version/quality, do update as lot of chaps will be keen on that lobang too.
Brother ganet, what you got is a quotation without seeing the actual product in store? If that's the case, most likely it's a wrong quotation/price. I don't see how the manufacturer will price something 'larger' at a cheaper price.
If there is actual product I already bought, that's why I'm here to share to see if anyone can validate. The quote is by the store book, price written as 6x.
Sometimes just to follow common sense might not be right, have to prove it by fact.
went hong yang today... boss quoted me $118 for rainbow crystal glass tank of 48cm length placed outside shop. he said he only have normal glass for 2 ft...
