    Hi guys,

This is Jenson from Singapore, new here. Just started fish keeping again due to my son's tremendous love and curiosity for fishes! So we decided to keep a few gold fishes and it happened that 4 of them died out, only left 5 behind, we 2 Cory Catfish to maintain the aquarium, it's a beginner tank - Classica Paradom Aquarium XL330, just want to keep the whole family happy and entertained by the lively and healthy fishes, but they're pretty upset with the 4 dead fishes over the passed few days.

    Nice meeting you guys here!

    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Jenson

    Re: New hwew

Thanks guys, I've been searching around to look for good advices and fishkeeping knowledge to make sure the fish and tank are healthy and well maintained. Obviously, I didn't do cycling! and at one time, my wife overfed the fish, until all the pellets floating all over the tanks. This worsen the situation by killing all fishes until only 1 feeder goldfish and 1 China Lion Head, and 2 Cories stay alive until now.

The filter is built in, don't know the brand, but the container of the filter is quite small, wonder is it possible to replace the wool with the biological wool or other biological media?

Trying to do a fish-in cycling with beginner tank like this while making sure the fish stay healthy and keep my son and family happy. Wonder how much fishes I can keep inside for that 30L small tank.

Might be visiting Qian Hu Singapore this Saturday with my family, and let my son to experience the longkang fishing too. At the same time do some shopping there.

Wonder anyone of you recommended shopping at Qian Hu?

30L is not very small either.

Perhaps a picture or two will help in identifying what's what and assist in your starting up process.

My parents do often over feed in the past. Its best that everyone knows a little of how to handle fishes even if they're feeding them. Else the situation would be worse when the tank if fully up an running.

Qian hu is a good place for excursion and family. Prices there are RRP and do not expect them to be cheaper than others LFS as they are a distributor of certain brands.

For good prices, and good range of products, you can try visiting nanyang Seaview at seletar farm way. No ponds for your kid to catch fishes from, but many tanks of fishes for him to look and "play" with them.

Initially it's quite clear like this. But I haven't took a photo of the current tank yet.might put it up later. Buying a new tank with stands indeed will burn a hole and face difficulties in locating a place for it, especially my son toys and stuff are everywhere in the living room.

Just did 60% wc today after 1 week. At the same time also found tank water yellowish.

    The tank after night feeding.
