Wah! you have a MMA fighter....betta also kena whack...
If you want more fish the you have to separate the MMA fighter.
My CPD is a male which have set up territory, and is attacking all other fish that comes near him. when i buy other CPD he will attack them till death. He recently Kills 14 of them he even win a fight with the Betta which too is dead now
No i am only left with him. Should i buy more CPD or should i leave it as it is?
My Tank is a 12g Planted Tank.

what you can do, is 1. "reshuffle" territory, meaning that you rearrange the tank layout, or 2. put more plants in to make more hiding place and cut off sight or 3. upgrade to a bigger tank or 4. just keep it that cpd alone
so I'm being a prick going around warning people for SMS lingo, let's put it this way: I got infaction for it once, and I'm sore about it, and I'm making more people joining me with infaction points. problem?
I decided to left my celestial pearl daino alone and not add any fish as he is too agressive and his Mix martial art skills is too good... Even wining a fight with an betta I believe nothing can match his skill... Anyway his coloration is excellent and stress free... Eating well too.. Guess I just concentrate on my plants
its time to add in a crayfish to show whose boss.
haha maybe i should but a snakehead in side there too?
Or a dead CPD if the snakehead decides to turn it into food.![]()
Fish.. Simply Irresistable
Back to Killies... slowly.
haha i am just going to leave him alone no more adding of fish. It is fun to know about that some CDP are so territory that it attack every thing that come close to them. thinking of breeding him, but guess i need to re arrange my tank as what urban Aquaria suggested. time to head down to Lim Chu Kang for New plants![]()
Surprised to hear that your celestial pearl danio is aggressive. I have 5 of them and they are living amicably with 10 blue alexrodi and 5 ruby tetra in my 2ft tank.
Weird, from what I had read:

CPD should be rather peaceful. You have one of a kind of CPD, you should cherish it.

This thread is hilarious. If I were you, I would just create another nano tank and give him "single cell" treatment. A 2 ft tank for one CPD is a great waste of space.

I once had a CPD from a shoal who stood out from his siblings in competing for food with other tank mates disproportionately bigger in size - he was fearless. Naturally he outgrew his siblings.
From time to time the corpse of a CPD would appear and I put it down as poor water quality, little suspecting the work of an assassin even though I had seen the dominant CPD chasing every fish at random with complete disregard for his own safety.
Looking back now, I should have kept him - he deserves to live. I gave him up because he was the last CPD standing. Talk about survival of the fittest...

I prefer observing life in my humble fish tank to watching TV that does nothing for the mind.
