    Hi All,

    Just to share on my tank, first time starting out

    Fauna
    Wisteria
    Java fern
    another 3 plants don't know the names


    It's been 1 week already and I observed that there is some kind of white fungus growing at the base of Red plant. How can I get rid of this??

    mould will go away by itself, or you can manually remove them. 2nd picture foreground looks like Japanese hairgrass to me

    Hi, can I know what filter you are using? I suspect the mould could be caused by dead spots in your tank where there is no movement or very little movement of water at that particular spot.

    Filter is white wool type in an overhead filter, yes there is slow water movement around that area

    If you bought your plants in tissue cultures, the mould is likely to be from unremoved nutrient gel. Did you remove the gel from the plants' roots before adding them into the tank?
